It is a very important part of our fellowship to reach out to our neighbors, our community, our country and our world. We do this by participating and supporting programs such as: The Richmond Peace and Education Center, Caritas, the Highland Support Project, the Summer Peace Building Institute, Camp Hanover, and RAMPS. RMF played a vital role in the development of the Ten Thousand Villages store in Carytown (organized by the Mennonite Central Committee), which features the work of third world artisans. Many of RMF’s members have jobs which provide service to the community, both locally and abroad.
