For Newcomers

We invite you to sign our guest book when you visit. This simply allows us
to begin to get to know you. Newcomers often have questions about our
organization and style of fellowship. We don’t have stringent membership
guidelines. Those who enjoy coming often are welcomed as part of our
fellowship.

Much of our communication ‘between Sundays’ occurs through email. If you
would like to receive these emails, please let a ‘regular attender’ know
and we can have your name added to the email distribution list. Names,
addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses are gathered once or twice a
year to aid in contacting each other.  Finding your name on the directory
does not imply membership or anything other than simply being a way to keep
in contact.

Once a year, we elect members of a Coordinating Council whose members
provide leadership for specific tasks in the life of the fellowship. The
Coordinating Council consists of the Administrator, the Treasurer, the
Worship Task Group Leader(s), one ad hoc church member, and the pastor. Our
church is very small which allows for an intimate setting for sharing one’s
life with others, but it also means that we do not have an extensive staff
to conduct routine duties.  Members share in the responsibilities of
leading the service, leading music, and maintaining the worship space. We
encourage people to volunteer their participation with any of the
activities of the fellowship.

If you have further questions about any aspect of our fellowship life,
please feel free to ask our pastor or members.

Welcome to RMF.

Organization Our church is very small which allows for an intimate setting for sharing one’s life with others, but also means we do not have extensive staff to conduct the routine duties present in all organizations. Members share in the responsibilities of leading the service, leading music, and maintaining the worship space. Once a year, we elect members of the Coordinating Council whose members provide leadership for specific tasks in the life of the church. Affiliation-We are involved in Mennonite Mutual Aid, Mennonite Central Committee, MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates) and have additional Mennonite connections but are not formally affiliated with the broader Mennonite Church USA.

Stewardship-The offering basket is on the front table and you may put your offering into it any Sunday. Many times it is a part of the service the first Sunday of the month. We invite you to support our fellowship and mission as you are able to do so.
